Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using SaltCRM.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SaltCRM platform ("Service") provided by SaltCRM ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SaltCRM, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

SaltCRM is a cloud-based practice management platform designed for architecture and interior design firms. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Project management with tasks, phases, and timelines
  • Quotation and invoice creation and management
  • Vendor directory, quote comparison, and work orders
  • Team management including timesheets, weekly planning, and leave management
  • File and gallery management with secure sharing
  • Client and customer relationship management
  • Site visit scheduling and tracking

3. Account Registration

To use SaltCRM, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach.
  • Keeping your account information up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Payment and Billing

Some features of SaltCRM require a paid subscription:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST), which will be added at the time of billing.
  • Payments are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Changes will not affect current billing cycles.
  • If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend access until payment is received.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all data, files, and content that you upload or create on SaltCRM ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
  • You may export or delete Your Content at any time through the platform.
  • We will not access, use, or share Your Content for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service, unless required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

When using SaltCRM, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited communications, or phishing attempts.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software.
  • Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • SaltCRM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Service.
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Termination

  • By You: You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we discontinue the Service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
  • Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow you to export it, after which it will be permanently deleted.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform at least 15 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
